Moonshine
Dates, cinnamon, and a night nobody is trying to end early.
It opens sweet and spiced — date and cinnamon, unmistakably — then settles into tonka and praline that stay close and last a long time.
Why Moonshine?
Its first name was Sahr (سَهَر) — the night vigil, staying awake by choice because the evening is worth it. Moonshine is that night from the other side: date and cinnamon that smell like something poured, and nobody trying to leave early.
Accord: Dates · Cinnamon · Tonka · Praline
Season: Winter
When to wear it
Winter nights. Gatherings that run late. Cold enough that you want something that projects.
This is a winter fragrance and it is made like one. Orientals need thirty to forty-five days of maceration before they are worth wearing — which is why this arrives in November and not before.
Inspired by Lattafa Khamrah.
